can anyone here tell me what type of flower this is? It is growing in a shrub type plant, either that or it's just grown very large over the years. lol I lover photographing outdoors, and this is growing in the neighbors backyard, their house is vacant at the moment (we're thinking about buying it) anyway, I have never known plants or flowers by their name.
thanks for helping

I had those in my yard up in Pennsylvania, too bad I couldn't bring it with me to Texas lol. I'm not real good with knowing what plants are, other than it's a weed or a flower. I called my mom yesterday to see what I have in my yard now lol It's a Wisteria, pretty, the flowers actually look likes groups of grapes hanging down.

He did do his homework before Christmas shopping. lol I love this camera, and the pictures it takes is just amazing. The last time I took any pictures close to these was in high school when I had a 35mm camera. I love just being able to download them to my laptop and edit and print them myself. It's amazing how many pictures I take with this and don't even have to edit.

I'm another vote for the peony! Can't see any of the leaves, but that's what comes to my mind first. It's lovely and a lovely picture!

I thought it was a camillia at first, but I found an image of one and its petals aren't that full. I'm agreeing on peony.

I think this flower is considered as Hibiscus? I am not sure, I am actually only guessing. Anyway, the flowers you posted are so beautiful and with so much color it just magnifies how God is so great for giving us living things like flowers...:)
Do you have a site wherein you showcase your photos? I would be willing to browse through them! Thank you for sharing your photography with us. :D

Thank you, I know it's not a hibiscus only because my mom used to grow those all the time. I have been wanting to set up a site just for that purpose, will let you know when I get it set up. I love photographing the outdoors
