I wanted to give an update on my tomatoe plants. I have two cherry tomatoes plants and two Romano plants. They are beautiful. I have many green tomatoes on the vines and many more blooms! I think I will have so many that I will have to sell them at the Farmers Market! Please share your tomatoe stories with me. This is my first year of growing my own, and I can use the help!

I've had better luck growing tomatoes than any other vegetable. It is hot and sunny here in Virginia like it is in Texas. I have no real stories other than I've grown them all from cherry tomatoes to Big Bertha's. There are nothing like fresh tomaotoes. One time when I lived a townhouse community and the plant was protected I was picking tomatoes until the first week of December!

Sounds like a good crop. You may want to save some for yourself. Raw tomatoes now looking like the cause of a Salmonella outbreak. Enjoy them. I hope they sell well for you.

Awesome! Mine are covered with flowers and little greenies, too, and I'm pretty excited. I've got some cherries that are turning red, and I've got some 'real' tomatoes (not just garden candy, as I call the cherry tomatoes) that are plumping up and noticeably bigger every day. It's soooo nice to get tomatoes with flavor again.
