Even if I am living in the Philippines I never had the opportunity to visit chocolate hills. They said, this tourist spot in the Philippines is really amazing. It looks like chocolates specially during summer time. Have you been there? mylotters who are from the Philippines, have you been there? share your experience.

Been there and it is a spectacular view to watch. although i wasn't there during summer that is why the hills were somewhat greener than being brown. Bohol is a nice place to visit.

Yes, many people said so. I like to see the chocolate hills and the smallest monkey in the world. I have been hearing about these things but never see it myself.

no, i haven't been there yet. But my husband and I plan on visiting our tourist spots next year when my baby has turned a year old. Some friends say that it really looks like a "chocolate hill" and was kinda mesmerized by the beauty of it..Most Filipinos have gone to other countries and visited the tourist attractions there but when asked if they have already seen the wonders of this country, they have not. Some would rather see what the other countries boasts of their vacation spots but what they might have not realized is that, here within this little country, can be found most of the sites where other foreigners loves to visit. I guess, we should visit our tourist spots first so when we go to other countries,we can promote them as well..

Very good idea my friend. You are exactly right. Most Filipinos love to visit the tourist spot in other countries, Kind like a pride for them to have gone there? but in their own place they never had experienced what it's like.

I am also from the Philippines but I've never been to the Chocolate Hills. I've never been to any tourist spots here aside from Boracay, Puerto Galera, Cebu and Vigan. I feel so sad. Can you believe I haven't even been to Bagiuo!? Poor me. Anyway, Bohol is like in my Top 10 places to visit here in the Philippines before getting married.

I've been to Bohol 3 years ago when I visited my friend there and my trip wouldn't have been complete if I did not visit the famous chocolate hills. They really look like chocolates and it's amazing when you to to the top and view it. I suggest you also find time to visit the place. I guess, Chocolate Hills is one of the contenders now being voted for the new 7 wonders of nature. Of course, if you visit Bohol, don't forget to visit also it's rustic old churches, the site of blood compact, the famous tarsiers in corella. You may also want to try having your lunch in a boat restaurant while cruising the loboc river. The white beaches in the Panglao Island are also sites to see.

What you have seen in Fort Santiago is not the real one. Is that the Nayong Filipino, you mean? It is just the creation, illustrating or depicting all the tourists spots in the Philippines. The real one maybe is really cool..
