Have you seen the Blu Ray at work. It is so much different. I love it. I am going to get my husband one for Christmas.

Well there are upconvert dvd players that you can get. They convert your regular dvds to near HD quality. Of course you would need a HDTV due to the fact that you would have to hook it up through and HDMI input in order to get that near HD picture and sound. But i strongly suggest you go and get one, if you have the money of course. If you want to experience the best in HD picture and sound, blu-ray is the way to go.

I would wait a bit if I were you...wait until they're a little bit "older". You never know with new technology, a lot of times you buy something new and they haven't worked all the glitches yet. Like windows vista. Everyone jumped on that bandwagon, and almost everyone was disappointed with the bugs. Plus, wait until they're making more blue ray disks...because it would suck for you not to be able to watch a movie you want because it's not on blue ray yet. Just my opinion :)
