Anyone else terrified of flying? :( I went to Oahu, Hawaii in March/April && it terrified me to death. I went from my state to detroit to LA then to hawaii. The small plane to Detroit was very shaky and we slid down the runway from the snow, to LA it was pretty smooth but, the turbulence was scary, on the way to Oahu was the same thing && the thought of being over the ocean. On the way back(which was overnight) was sooo scary!! Is turbulence worse @ night?! I almost cried it scared me so bad. On takeoff to Charlotte we had technical difficulty. THANK GOD they caught it before we left the ground. On the way back here it was pretty smooth just minor turbulence. I'm flying back there in July and I am so worried and scared. This time it's a one stop flight. I don't know why it scares me this bad. Just the thought of being so high up, I'm afraid of crashing, plus terrorists.:( HELP!! Any advice or words of optimism?
