Here is a photo of the Grand Canyon. I loved the Grand Canyon I could live out there and be happy looking at the big hole in the ground. I loved the different colored rocks and dirt. This is a photo with shadows of clouds in the canyon.

That's a real cool shot of the Grand Canyon you got there. I want to go there one day. I went to Nevada twice when I was younger, but all I was thinking about then was gambling in Vegas. Now that I have given that up, I want to go back and enjoy the scenary.

The Grand Canyon is in Arizona???? Are you serious? What made me think it was in Nevada. Oh I must get a map, LOL.

LOL poor baby, how about an atlas LOL I am sorry I had a laugh at your expense. I think we all get mixed up at times. You can go to Nevada if you wish but you cannot see the Grand Canyon.

Stop in Airzona and see the grand canyon it is very pretty. I loved it. I am glad we went. I would love to go back again when we have more time to spend there. I think this summer I want to take the local bus up to Yosemite National Park and go veggitate in my home town where I was raised. I have not been up there for years. I do not think I can afford the price of gasoline to drive up there.

Yes I really do think that's a great photo--just have to ask this. Did you do the "echo" thing? I hear lots of time when people go to the Grand Canyon they shout something out and one can hear their voice "echo" for miles around..LOL

My friend you think the photo is that good? I did love the grand caynon. It is right up there with Yosemite National park where I grew up. I loved the grand canyon I could sit and look at the canyon all day long.

No LOL I do not know where they do the echo thing. I have heard of it but not where we here. I think we where not in the correct place. Maybe the next time.

It oohed me and I wish I could fly right now and see this splendid sight. I have always heard people who have seen it and give mainly positive feedbacks. My English friend told me he and his mother went on a glass chopper over Grand Canyon and he said that it was really beautiful. But of course it cost a fortune. But if I get fortunate I would definitely love that idea.

I would love to do that also. Some of the jeep tours where 100 dollars a person and that was too much for us to spend with the price of gasoline and all. I do not think we will be able to afford to do anything like in the future because of the price of gasoline being $4.49 a gallon here now.

$100 per person is a bit too much. Tours services are really a rip off, eh? Anyway, what can we do with all this global crisis? I guess we can opt for alternative energy source this time. We have a choice, don't we?

Yes we have a choice we can choose to spend our money or lack of it on necessities on something else. We drove but took public transportation when possible on vacation.

That is a beautiful picture! I have never been to the grand canyon, but my husband and I are going to be traveling there in a couple of weeks for a late honeymoon. I have heard how gorgeous it is in person, and I am really excited to finally get to see it for myself.

I am glad you like the photo. I love going to the grand canyon. It was the first time for us also. Happy belated honey moon. Today is my husband's and mine 31th wedding anniversary. We are expecting our fist grand child in February also. what a joyous time for us. I hope you have a great time on your honey moon

That is one cool picture you have there... the Grand Canyon is in my list of places that i want to visit... but that might take a while since it is so difficult to get a US visa... so for now... i have to be content with pictures and stories from people who have actually been there... thanks for sharing this photo...

You are welcome. Why is it so hard to go a visa to the USA? Is is the cost or do we not let you come over?
