In Hong Kong, there are dragon boat racings in every year's Dragon Boat Festival. Many big companies organize teams to attend the racings. People go to watch the racing to celebrate the festival. Actually, I am NOW watching the dragon boat racing show on the TV! ^^

I know about dragon boat racing. I am a dragon boat rower and I went with my team to China in 2006 to join a race in Guangzhou and Shaoguan. My team represented our country. I belong to the women's team. Fortunately, we won fourth and sixth places in the two races -- the other winners in the top ten were all Chinese teams. We were so happy about it because the competition included so many teams from around the world -- Germany, Australia, Thailand, Austria and many others. I would love to go to your place one time, with my team, and compete in your dragon boat regatta. I had a great time during our five-day stay in those places. The festivals were great, the food was very good, and the people were friendly. Although we couldn't communicate well with the people, that wasn't a hindrance in doing business with the people in Guangzhou and Shaoguan.
I love Dragon Boat!
