My dogs many times sleep on their back with legs up. Especially in summer due to hot climate they sleep on their back. But I think it is a natural things in case of animals as I have seen lions and cat's also sleeping on their back. Does your pet also sleeps like this.

Mostly my dog sleep on stomach at first,
after a while they sleep, they will start to turn 180 degree,
and sleep on their back (both dog).
This is normal for both my dog.

Not that I have noticed she doesn't.She has a doggie bed. It stays at the foot of our bed. She curls up in a ball on it. She sleeps curled up nose to tail.
