Today oil spiked to records high $10 jump and sitting at $139 a barrel. Morgan Stanley analyst predicts oil to be at $200 a barrel by July 4th.
When and where will it end. With job losses (I am one) and increases in oil, food and home energy, I am not sure how long we will be able to make ends meet if things continue in the same direction. We ahve been cutting back for sometime and are begining to feel the pain of it, anyone else feeling it too.

I think one day will coming soon when people start fighting for oil not for money. This will effetc me alot, every time it hikes and it makes me worry , how to manage my life according to that.

I think everyone I know is feeling the pain by now; obviously, I don't hang out with a rich crowd...lol! It's not in the least bit funny and I sure don't mean to make light of it at all. I don't know how much more some people can cut back. It's almost to where you "feed" your car's gas tank or feed you kids!

Thank you for responding, and yes, for sometime I have cut-back(not buying high-priced items) because I have to put fuel in my car. I am umemployed, but feel lucky because I no longer have to worry about costs to commute. I know if I was still working, I would probable be calling in and saying "I can't come to work because I don't have enough gas". lol; that would be a new excuse, but I can see it happening.
Thanks, again

Yes, that was shocking ! I just heard about it too on the TV two hours ago. Yup, that's going to impact our daily lives and each and every economic sector of the country. There is a desparate need to find the way to put a stop to the oil price rising further on.

Thanks for responding, we maybe too late for alternative energy and Pres. Bush is calling for more open drilling, which will take too long and still does not answer the need for alternative fuel. I sure hope they find a solution to the problem, I think if they don't we will become a "Third World" country.
Thanks, again
