Hoya is a kind of plant, right? I'm not sure but, is this an orchids or something like that? Because the pictures of hoya's I've seen varies. Anyway, they look good as orchids. Is it hard to grow hoya? Thanks for sharing Lifelight.

Yes, it's a plant - in Sweden where I live we keep them as indoor plants.
They are not related to orchids but they do grow in similar regions o the world and it is said that collectors often find them close to each other (in the wild). This is a plant that is found in south east asia through australia. It is also called wax plant.
There are hundreds of different spieces within the same family (milkweeds). They are easy to grow, and the variety of shapes, sizes and colours of the leaves are amazing. The great thing with them is that they bloom too - they aren't only good looking green house plants but they flower in the most spectacular way - lots of different colours and looks. AND it's fairly easy to get them to bloom!
I have over 200 different spieces in my house and have contact with other hoya fans on forums. We sell and buy cuttings from each other and from dealers from every where in the world.
