Not all people say 'Excuse Me' when squeezing past people trying to get out of shops, like supermarkets where the only way out is through the checkouts. They just barge past and expect people to move without being asked if they can move there trolleys so they can get past.
Or even after being served and are leaving they dont say 'Thanks' or 'Bye'. So they dont have to, but common courtesy would be nice.
It does get annoying and Im just the one watching them as the cashier. I hear people mutter to themselves or the people they are with when someone squeezes past with no manners!!

It seems like nobody cares about manners anymore. It's everywhere you go people are just miserable and rude. I work in customer service as a bartender and you would think people would be nice to me. Most are but we have some that are just downright rude. Thankfully I can cut them off and tell them to leave. I just don't have time or patience to deal with people like that. It ruins everyone's good time.

That annoys me to Cinders. I hate to say it, but older people seem worse than young ones. Or is that my imagination? Sometimes when you do say "excuse me please" people stare at you like you've crawled from under a stone. People are as bad in cars and pedestrians at crossings really get me. I know that the Highway Code states that drivers should stop to let them cross, but a friendly wave or mouthed "Thank you" wouldn't hurt.

I wave to the drivers that stop for me except at traffic lights as they have to stop!!
I think its abit of both as the young ones who do have manners use them but find that the lovely old dears who they are trying to squeeze past didnt hear them or ignore them and make them wait until they have finished!!
I'll never understand people and there motions (if thats the right word?????)

I hate people that do not have manners. I think it is very disrespectful not to use them. I have made this an important issue for my kids. They have more manners then most adults. People are rude in public and when they are I sure ask where there manners are. Even if I create a scene.
