come on people be honest...i always comment on topics and discussions and i keep on checkin if the one who that discussion read what i said, or commented on it..
I never saw that the writer saw anything i wrote !!!
he didnt even peek at my point of view..
It's sad when writing becomes only for on purpose, and a lame one..we become indiferent to what people tend to comment on our opinions and yet we froget to remind ourselves that a discussion is a talk with two sides ...!!!
let's say X talk and Y replies...and that's how it goes...
Okay i know it may be difficult sometimes to check everything but just take a peek guys!!! it really bothers

I do. Honestly. There are times that I'm not responding or starting any discussion but I'm just spending time reading. Just reading posts ans responses, especially responses to my discussion. Now, I would really like, and I tried responding to every single response to my discussion, but I juts couldn't especially when there are really lots of discussions and replies. I'm so sorry about that. Some responses I'm really not able to respond back. But I read them, I knew I read them because my email notifies me and right there in my email I'm reading the responses.

Try to give it a little more time though. Maybe the person you responded to have not yet online, or not been online for some time. You know sometimes I have discussion or responses I made that hasn't been commented for days or sometimes weeks, then one day I would receive a response or comment for the discussion weeks ago, I almost forgot about it, LOL! Anyway, Thank you for that meaningful post.

lieanat ...the issue i meant to talk about in my discussion is that i'm suffering from people who don't check back the comments they recieved...
It was not meant to describe me .. i feel that u got the idea that i don't check the comments, well i do nd tts why i expect pple treating me the same...:)

Oops, sorry i misinterpret your words. Well, I also face similar situations and I think maybe the discussion is too long ago and so the creator didn't realize that we added new response to it. Or maybe they agree with you and don't want to just reply "I agree with you. Thanks for your comment, have a nice day". That's meaningless. I actually repeated the sentences few times especially when I don't know how to reply back those response! Hope you get my point.

yes i read the comments in the discussions i have started because my main purpose of starting that discussion is to hear other people's viewpoints. i also check out the latest of those who commented on my comments to other people's discussions. i commented on that topic because i am interested in it, so i also want to know if others agree or disagree on what i have just written. i am just a beginner in myLot so i only have fewer comments to view, i guess that's one of the reasons. if ever i have accumulated a lot of comments, i'm not sure of i can check them all out. i'll try to do that as much as possible.

I do the same thing. I am still a newbie here in MyLot but I understand that this is a social network. So it's sort of a courtesy call that you check back the discussions/responses you started and provide a comment if you can. This of course is not required as some users probably don't share the same sentiments. I may also get busy for quite some time but I would still want to provide comments and read responses on my discussions if I will have the time.
