I would buy them then, you cant believe all thats in a newspaper there are so many false stories. Would you like to read a paper that has only Good in it????

Wouldn't a paper full of good news be fantastic - i would definitely read it when I needed cheering up! lol I know I have seen newspapers twist things several times that just are not true and I hate it! I do read teh papers occasionally but usually take most stories with a pinch of salt! xxxx

I don't read the newspaper everyday but my husband does. Ok, he's boring! Unfortunately news is news and rarely is it good. People get all fired up over exciting news which most often isn't good or positive. I would like to see the papers include a comedy section other than the funnies. I would gladly read funny stories.

I agree. Every time I pick up the newspaper or turn on the nightly news, it is filled with doom and gloom and just all around horrible stories. They do usually have a happy little fun story at the end, but who can stand to hang around all that time to hear it. A daily newspaper of nothing but good news would certainly be a welcome relief.

Hi Gollywog! I don't buy newspapers anymore and I just sometimes watch the news on tv if I feel like it. I do get tired of reading bad news and bad things all the time. And most of the times, the news is not that accurate in reporting the entire story. Sometimes it is being sensationalized or magnified so that they will sell more. I would like to read newspapers if they have balance reporting. I would like to read more good and inspirational stories so that it could uplift people's morale and spirits. However, I just don't want to read only the good, I also want to read the truth.
Take care and God bless!

I only ever read a paper if I am at work during my break as there is usually one lying around, but I agree they are full of bad news as that is what sells the papers, crazy really. I would love there to be a good news magazine or paper available to cheer us all up for a change eh! Good idea. Ellie :D

I don't read the newspaper, never have really. I use to buy the Sunday paper just for the coupons and the comics, but stopped a few years back. With the prices of everything going up, I may start buying it again for the coupons.

I would not want to see all good news nor do I want to hear all bad news. There is enough bad things going around my life without hearing about someone else's bad news. We do not get the paper but that is because we are on a budget and have to cut our expenses. And the newspaper has to tell everything, not just when something is going on that we all like to hear about.

i no longer read any news paper and dont watch any news on tv too. everyday gasoline always get one step higher. it is becoming like a high pitched song that sooner or later nobody can sing to that song anymore for it is too high pitched. if gasoline gets high all of the things we need gets high too. so i would rather watch something funny that would entertain me rather than to watch something that would make me worry

Hi Golly, I still read the daily broadsheet despite all the bad news there. I can't help it I have to browse through the daily happenings in the country. We'll just have to get used to the bad news, especially the rising price of gasoline. That's all. It's basically the function of the media to tell us everything- whether good or bad.

No matter there are good or bad news in the newspapers, i will still read them all everyday.. Because wat's bad for us may be good for the others and vice versa.. THus, it's hard to make a judgement from bad and good news.. After all, it's to updated ourselves on daily happenings around the world and some just read papers to pass time ^_^

We had a weekly newspaper in Texas that was all good news. It focused on all of the good going on in the county and was really fun to read. It was great knowing that people aren't all bad.
Personally, I stopped paying much attention to what's supposedly news long ago after working for a daily paper.
What I discovered there was that front page news was not necessarily the most important news. What made the front page depended on which reporter was "owed" a front page item, which news items had the best pictures, which one would sell more papers. Rarely did something that I would consider real front page news make it there.
