Questions about mylot

1. can you remove a discussion after you post it?
2. can you cross post?
i cant remember if it was in the rules or not and im afraid that if you cant then i might since i have the worst memory ever and cant remember things five mins after i read them sometimes and dont want to think its not a prob and accidently do it etc.. and if i post some where in one interest that is listed a couple of times in where you choose and no one answers anything in that one i wanted to know if i could put it in a diff area that is named the same or are they all connected?? i need to like post about looking for a job but i already have once so i didnt know..
lol guess i should have like asked these a few points ago so im not totally looking insane now..

No, you can't remove a post but you can ask mylot to do it for you. Cross posting the way you've described would be a violation. If your discussion could fit under more than one interest, choose the one that is most popular and/or most current.

YES you cannot remove any discussion or post or any comment that you have made
I dont know whether you can put the same discussion in another topic
If you want to do so why dont you make a few changes in it and then put it under a different interest?

well as far as cross posting i would mean under one interest of "pets" then there would be "had pets" or something to where its the same thing but not the same area.. if that makes any sense.. i know when i was editing my interest there were like 5 for one thing so i was wondering if they all connect to the same place or 5 different places for the same thing which is why im confused

You can not remove anything, yourself, that is part of discussion area be it a discussion, comment or photo. You have to contact mylot staff to remove it for you. You can, though, remove anything, yourself, that is explicitly part of your profile page, like people from your friend's list, comments from your friends, photos added on profile, interests, messages, sorties etc.
You will have to be patient though as mylot staff takes their time to remove something for you, sometimes you even have to remind them. I have got one of my discussions and two comments deleted on my request. When I asked for removal of discussion they asked me to provide the link, which I gave. After a week when it still wasn't deleted, I asked them again and this time they deleted. Similarly for deletion of my comments, I had to wait for 4, 5 days before they were deleted. So, they will do it even though they may take time.
As to cross posting, you can't do it with same title or details as per mylot guidelines. However, if you change the title and a little details, I think it will not be a problem as such. Good luck!

Yes i had friends with the same name as mine. That was during my high school days. But we shared different surnames . That is why there was not much trouble. But then in college i had a friend with a name similar to mine, including the surname. So the teachers used to add a suffix 'a' or 'b' after our names respectively...funny isn't it.
