Hi,
I never sell and buy using eBay. I'm afraid to try and I don't understand the procedures involved.
I always wanted to sell on eBay and make some extra money but I don't know how. Anyone here can help me to get started?
Where could I get stuff to sell? How to ship things? What is the cost for shipping?
Thanks for any responses.

Selling on Ebay is fairly easy. Opening a Paypal account a is important, but if your on myLot, you probably already have one. Getting payments via Paypal is much safer than money orders because of all the counterfeits and much, much quicker.
Another key to selling on Ebay is to have a scanner or computer you can download pictures to, becasue Ebay listings with at least one photo will almost alwasy bring more money that listings with no photo.
There may or may not be a certain amount of time or feedbacks you need before you begin selling (it's been so long since I started on Ebay, I can't remember)
Buying is much easier. Check the seller's feedback rating, looking for 100% feedback or very close to it(and one with a lot of feedback) check the seller's shipping info, makeing sure that you're willing to pay what they are charging. If you find a seller that fits your expectations, selling something you want to buy. Then determine how much you're willing to spend and bid. Never go above your limit on an item, otherwise you're liable to be spending more than you want/more than the item is worth.
Go easy, do research on the items you want to buy before you bid or sell before you list and you'll do fine.
Good luck!

Isn't there an introductory tutorial that is offered in ebay for every newly registered member?
When it comes to selling things online, it might be a slow process but, reputation is needed to be able to sell items. Selling things honestly and giving buyers what they want would grant you positive reps that would help you sell things easier since it would make you more reliable.
On online transactions, you should always wait for them to pay you before sending them the items they ordered. Of course, buyers would only pay if your reputations is already well established. You should also know how your items being shipped works so that you can relate it on your details as you post your items for sale like duration of time until ordered item arrives to buyers and other things you may want to relate. Some items may receive damages due to handling while being shipped, that's why other sellers on ebay provide other shipping services that buyers can avail of for security and satisfaction.
On my case, I usually do C.O.D.s since I'd personally meet my buyers or my dealers and see the items they are selling. If everything is right, then there's a deal, if not, no deal would be done at all.
Sellers do contact you when they are interested and you must always provide the answers for every inquiry that they might ask to lessen the disappointment if ever a deal goes wrong.
You must also be aware about joy bidders in case your putting items for auction. Some sellers would post that they would not entertain bidders with negative or even zero reputations. Check their profiles as well just to make sure.
Well, that's as much as I could share on my experience on ebay-ing..

yes. I have sold a few things on ebay. if you go through the steps, it has step by step instructions on how to sell items. it's best if you have a paypal account so you can get the money sent from all over the world.. make sure you send items quickly and make sure your communication is good.
