Microsoft is developing a system which could spell the end of use of computer mouse, Bill Gates has said. Users of Windows 7 will give commands by touching the screen rather than by mouse and keyboard combination. Users will control their machines by voice, pen and touch. windows 7 is expected by 2010. http://4insanes.com/?p=58

Yeah, and then they can release another Windows program that's not ready. I can't wait to see all the bugs that come with it. Honestly, you'd think they'd learn after the bad reception to Vista!

Agreed, vista is terrible. But it would be interesting to see how microsoft has taken vista's experience. Though they are yet not ready to accept that vista is a failure.

When will Microsoft learn. They have had 2 failures. Windows Millennium and Windows Vista. I'm just tired of it. There only good programs was Windows XP and Windows 98.

Hopefully they learned from their errors, more people will turn back to Microsoft when they make Windows 7 a less bloat, less bugs that most people are just complaining about this, I think the redefined interface and new features of Vista are not really hated by most people... BTW you can use Windows 7 even without touch screen, it's just new way to interact to Windows like voice recognition in vista, they are not forcing to use touch.
