i would choose wind energy always when it comes to clean energy although nuclear can produce more than wind energy. i love wind energy because there is nothing cleaner than producing energy from wind. there is no harful output from wind turbines not like nuclear that produces harmful waste.

Yes, i would definitely agree that wind energy is a clean source of energy. But the problem with wind energy is that it does not provide us with the sufficient amount of energy to meet our needs. Several thousands of wind turbines have to be built in order to come up with an energy output equivalent to that of a nuclear power plant. And another thing is that, in order for us to build a great number of wind turbines, engineers would require a very vast quantity of land. Which then would have to be leveled down and be cleared of trees, plants, animals, birds, and other things that could compromise the function of the turbines. In other words, it is not that TOTLLY environment friendly. It has also its own setbacks the same as those of nuclear power plants. Knowing that the total population in the world is greatly increasing each day, and more people means an increase in energy consumption requirements. So i would say that we need an energy source that could provide us with what we need. Enough to keep our everyday lives going and keep our world turning. Nuclear energy is still the best despite of its risks. And besides, nobody ever wants to live in a world that is running out of energy/electricity.

there are plenty of places where we could build wind turbines without affecting the forests reserve or endangered species. the united states have a vast lands where there are nothing but plain lands. we should plant solar panels in the sahara desert or any other desert where the sun is always on and the wind is always on too.

I live near a nuclear facility. I hope their discharge is not too harmful because I swim in the water almost daily. It is actually a cooling resvoir for the facility. Wind turbines are a clean source of energy but those turbines unfortuanely kill birds.

i'm scared to swim in a body of water that is near a nuclear facility. you should avoid swimming there because you might get cancer.

Yes you are right , it wont effect any ones life and no buddies stops wind and it is continuesly produce energy and it wont effect environement , but its setup is very costly then any other ways.

i have to disagree because those wind turbines also kill birds that are migrating from place to place.
