Did you get stitches after you gave birth?

I was wondering who had stitches put in after they gave birth. I tore in two different place and therefore had to have two sets of stitches in two different places and it took a whole month to heal. I also had to have a urinary catheter inserted because of the position of the stitches. How long did your stitches take to heal?

My spouse, when she gave birth for my son had stitches. It was Only two stiches and it healed within a weeks time. Was your kid very heavy?

Nah, i wouldn't say he was very heavy at all. He was 3040grams. He was two weeks early though. He was pretty small, but he had a big head lol.

I had to get a few stitches with my first child. I did not tear the doctor cut me to prevent me from tearing. With my second they thought they might have to cut me but they didn't. I don't really remember how long my stitches were in. They came out early though. They did not dissolve like they were supposed to.
