Well here we go... you know you are living in 2008 when...
1. You have a list of 12 numbers to contact your family of four.
2. You accidently enter your password on the microwave.
3. Every ad on TV comes with a website at the bottom of the screen.
4. Leaving your house without your mobile phone makes you panic and return home for it.
5. You get continual emails from a girl named Kitty who promises to make you purr.
6. You haven't played solitaire with real cards since 1990.
7. You can't stay in touch with friends or family if they don't have an email address.
Can you add to this list.

You haven't picked up a newspaper in the last 3 years because you read it all online
You find out your company's closing in two months and moving to Mexico
You send text messages to your friend, who's sitting right next to you
Bands like Poison, Motley Crue and Warrant are considered classic rock

It just makes me feel old when I hear the bands of my youth referred to as "Classic" and I'm not even that old!

That is pretty darn good, and accurate. I don't have a cell phone though. I think I'm one in a few who don't have a cell phone! Even my parents and sister have one! And they have numbers galore stored up in them. I have to laugh at some of the ringtones though. They are pretty funny.

when your children are all inside the house and watching anime or listening to music or playing ps games or online games. children plays this kind of way already they no longer play (as much as we do before) outside. you get to know a person better through chat and sometimes fall in love with that person too.

I know that I'm living in the new age, because I don't have to subscribe to cable anymore. When I was growing up, cable was the big thing. And, just this past two years, I've become a big fan of Netflix. But, now they have all the movies and TV shows you could ever want online and many are free. Even Netflix is moving toward putting their entire inventory online for paying customers. Right now, I'm paying just about $25 for dvds and online movies, but soon that will be down to $10 monthly.

Nice topic. All of these made me think, lol. And I really do miss the 90s. Let's see if I can add something to this list.
You live on the same street with all of your friends, yet you mostly talk online rather than in person. (This one is true for me)
Your CD player now looks like a weird gadget to you.
Your cassette tapes don't mean a thing anymore to you.
A day without using the cmoputer feels like you've lost a year from your life. (Very true for me)
Internet speech such as 'lol' and 'omg' are now being used on actual labels to sell products.
