It's been a year since I graduated from college but until now I still don't know what to do with my life. I don't know what to do next to achieve my goals in life. Before when I was still in college I was so determined to finish my degree even i it means working hard and studying hard. Even if it means I have to work part time job to continue my studies. But now that I already graduated I do not know what to do with my life. I lack the first step towards success. A lot of job offers came my way since then but I turned all of them down because I did not like them but even if liked some of them I still turned them down because of my pride and because of my fear. I know that I have inferiority complex and I don't know how to deal with them and how to make them go away. A lot of friends had advised me of what to do but I am still confused and I did not find their advice good enough. And unitl now I am still lost and no one good enough to guide me. Please give me your advice.

it may help to know what you really want once you have tried doing it, otherwise you'll end up with what-ifs and regrets. you can also try doing post graduate or even short programs if you still don't want work, at least you could still be learning something instead of putting your talents and skills into nothing. be courageous, most of the newly-hires have no idea of what's in store for them in their company, but it doesn't hurt to try and learn something from it and you get to earn money at the same time. don't waste precious time and live your life by doing something!

It happened with me. And I thinks it happens to a lot of people actually. Maybe you could take a graduate program while thinking through what you want to do in life? Sounds a lot better than doing nothing...

College is not the end of learning. Getting your first job and learning what you can from it will give you the confidence you are looking for. Strike while the iron is hot.
