Have you ever complimented your teacher?

I met one of my teacher recently in my reunion event. I talk to most of my ex teacher. They remember me a little bit, I don't know if they lie or not because how many people they have taught all their life? And then, I met my favorite teacher, I said hi to her and talked to her, after finished, I complimented her as the best teacher I ever had. Have you ever complimented your teacher?

I have not seen my teachers again since I left school. I chose to attend a University far away from home and never moved back but even further away, lol. I rarely get home to visit and haven't been able to attend a reunion yet. I think there may be two or three teachers who have been genuinly good teachers, meaning good at teaching and interested in their student's progress and trying their best to get through to them with the material. If I would see them I probably would give them a compliment as they didn't give up on me when others did.
