When I was a teenager I dated someone for 4 years. I loved him with all my heart. My grandmother who raided me was to say the least a snob and she thought his faily - him especially were beneath us. She lied and caused a break up in our relationship. That was in 1957. I married my American servicman husband and moved from the UK to the USA in 1960. My husband died in 1993 after a 35 year long and veryhappy marriage. In 1996 I got back in touch with my first love from the UK. Since them we have both made numerous trips across the Atlantic to be with each other. I have 3 grown daughters but he has no children. My family love him dearly. He has decided that if we could live in a Southern state where it is warm year round he would like to move to the USA. Before we can really make any definite plans about that he has to have a residents Visa. In order to get one we have to be married. Well we will become man and wife on June 28th. Fifty years after we had first planned to be married but I am absolutely over the moon about it.

He is a terrific guy. And I couldn't be happier for my mother. When my dad passed away, he told her to get on with life. And I am very glad she did. Ray is terrific and I am very happy that he is going to be a part of the family.
