Do husbands too suffer cruelty from wives ?

men are superior than women, men are even stronger than them so why they are still men who had been abused by women. but on the other hand i realized that maybe men are just tolerating their wives because on my part i also did it because i hate conversation especially if it just because of jealousy or maybe men are just showing respect to them as what i did i just bear in my mind that women needs to be taken care of as they are our partner in life. i consider this two factor, well.. maybe for the good of our relationship. but i don't believed that men will suffer cruelty from women.

yes, i heard some stories of a battered husband. in fact one of my co-worker has a male friend that is experiencing cruelty from his wife, his wife is a nagger, with a heart of ice and very frigid. poor guy since the man is very sweet and loving, i often hear him complain to my co-worker about his family dilemma. you see its not only wives that suffer from husband's rudeness. its always a two-way traffic.

I agree it exists p_vadla, I can tell several men whom I met in real life who is under that relationship, I have been wondering what made this happen, what made them not to say or do something to change the environment and respect for each other will prevail. I will believe in the saying that, if you will not allow anyone to do it with you, it will never happen!

That is absolutely true. Leave apart the mental cruelty, women with all those laws in favour of them actually sometimes misuse them. In India, the laws are these days most favourable to women. It is true, that women have treated badly and still are being treated badly by some in India. But nowadays, if a woman just doesnt like her husband, she can just complain to the police, or women cells and the husband would never again try to even think of a woman again. Nowadays women can hold her husband and in-laws to ransom with the threat of "complain about dowry demand" and they wouldn't be able to do anything.

I can say yes from experience, my wife can be quite verbally , mentally, and emotional cruel and abusive to me, not always, but at least one time daily.

Thats right, husbands do suffer in hand of their wife.Men always in disadvantages when matrimonial issues arise.After some years of marriage you have to listen what she tells or u will suffer a great deal with a unhappy family and in upbringing of children,etc,etc. The soory thing is that there is no law written, all talk only, well i heared there is a husbands forum who helps husbands but i doubt how can the forum help.

I don't think that mental cruelty is ever going to be an easy thing to prove. Regardless of which person did/does it. Unfortunately these things do happen in every country. There was a report on tv about the same subject a few weeks ago here. These guys really felt awful having to talk about it. But then again I suppose that women have just as a hard a time talking about it if it happens to them.
