Where I come from 18 is the legal age for that. And compared tot he US where 21 is the legal age, I don't see much of a difference. In fact at 18 many are still under more parental control and drink less than what I see the 21 year olds do here in the US. So many 21 year olds here take advantage of being away at college and let their drinking get out of control. They have no parents questioning their hangover the next day, lol.

Where did you come from? Indeed, they are taking advantage of their freedom. But moderate and occasional drinking isn't bad at all. It just has to be controlled. Thanks for responding!(^^,)

i was 14 when i first started going into pubs drinking (i looked alot older than i was) only because i wasnt aloud it at home i got into alot of danger and drank way too much! i think that teenagers should be aloud a drink every now and then at home where it is safe! but by 18 i think your old enough to go out drinking!

Yes that is definitely true. Teenagers should be allowed to experiment a little bit of this and that at home where they are safe. Thanks for responding(^^,)

In Canada the legal age is 19, and that's OK with me. I think that the legal age for drinking, voting, and joining the military, whatever age that may be, should all be the same age. It's not air tat someone can go off to war, but they can't vote or have a drink.
