I don't have clear idea of mylot... / myLot

hi,I've been doing all these since last week. Still there are couple of questions in mind regarding payment of mylot. FAQs failed to give me the clear idea of it.. posting a topic or starting discussion can add $0.01 dollar to my account..? What about the uploading a picture...does it really pay 7 cents..? Yesterday my earing was 80 cents after uploading 4 pictures and posting and starting discussion all these gives 22 cents only? In my earing section I found a sentence " Discussion and image earnings are now combined into one line item call - participation".. Can you explain it? How much it will pay on throwing a discussion along with or without a picture and uploading a single picture? Many of you earn $1 everyday.. I also wanna know how do you manage it? And does it help to earn extra to be selected as best response...? What about (+) and (-) buttons do they increase or decrease earning, respectively ? There so many people have the same queries regrading their payments in mylot. Hope this discussion would be beneficial for us.. Thanx.. tx_666

Hi there. Actually, there are no fix rate for anything. $0.80 actually is a good earning in a day for starters like you. My first earning here at mylot in a day was just $0.20. "Discussion and image earnings are now combined into one line item called-participation" means that your earnings are not itemized. It means that there is no specific price or amount for each post, may it be discusions of pictures. "One line item called-participation" means posting pictures and discussions is the totality of your participation. Being chosen as the best respondent to discussions doesn't do anything to your earnings but it does something to your star rank. See the stars that we have? The higher the number that is in the star, the higher the reputation the mylotter has but it doesn't have anything to do with the earnings. It doesn't affect your earnings at all. We use the positive and negative sign to rate our co-mylotters. If you like the post and the post has a positive effect on you, go ahead rate it positive and if it doesn't, you are free to rate it negative. But always remember, be fair in rating. The exclamation point is used to report abusive posters. The tip that I can tell you to increase your earnings are: 1.) Post quality discussions. It should be five or more sentences. Spell out the numbers, it will help. LOL! 2.) Comment on the responses of mylotters about your discussions. 3.) Add pictures on your discussions. 4.) Be nice to other mylotters so they will not rate you negative. Happy mylotting and happy earnings! Cheers!
