Any breed that is low maintenance and will herd sheep naturally. I presently have an Australian Stumpytail (not the best herder, had better) and a PowderPuff Chinese Crested (thinks she's a herder, high maintenance).

My favorite breed of dog is the Siberian Husky, to me they are the most beautiful dog around, with the mask on their faces, especially the ones with blue eyes, they resemble a wolf. they look very mean at times, but they are very gentle and sweet, very good around children. I used to raise them years ago. Then I too like the dachshounds, I used to own them all the time too, they are very loving, loyal companions.

My favorite breed of dog is the White West Highland Terrier. We own one now and he is so cute and behaved well enough for me. The only drawback is the grooming. I may consider a short haired breed in a small package - maybe a Jack Russell Terrier. But for now - the Westie has two thumbs up from me!

My mom has an adorable dog. She is a SHIH-TZU. They are so fluffy. A good mannered dog, also. I would rather her have the shorter haircut, but my mom prefers Daisy to have the long hair and ponytails. It is way to hard for me to brush all that hair.

We already have a German Sheperd and she's almost 5 years old. She's a bit popular here in our neighborhood because I think, she's the biggest dog.
I really love to have a Siberian Husky. But puppies of that breed are way expensive here in our country. And I thought when we bought our German Sheperd when she was still 4 months old, she was expensive. Siberian Husky puppies are way more expensive than German Sheperds. But I really love their eyes. And the way they generally look.

I have had and bred bassett Hounds 41 years now and LOVE them. They are so saggy and cute. and wonderful family dogs!
We also have a black lab that I am crazy about, but I have only had this one and she's a sweetheart. But I am partial to bassett hounds. Yuo can't get a better dog!

My favorite dog breed is the German Sheppard because they stay true and loyal to their owners and are very playful and helpful. They also can easily get attached to their owner.
One last reason, they haven't been shown on the news with the headlines "Mauled Bystander"

Well, if you have the resources to feed them and care for them I don't think you can have enough dogs.
As for me, I would love to own a Mastiff or a Husky.

definately has to be german shepherds since that is the first kind of dog we had in my house growing up. unfortunately our first dog named sarah just passed a couple weeks ago at the old age of 14. a few years ago we bought another female german shepherd who we named sadie. she is still young and hyper!
