GH: Oops...I wanted the Fresh Face Look, Not The Clown Look!

Do you suppose that Jackie Zeman told her doctor just that after her latest round of plastic surgery resulted in her moving closer to the look of the circus?
Or, was it just me? When Bobby and Carly were chatting in the hospital on Tuesday's episode, I am playing catch-up and watching all of this week's episodes from my TiVo this weekend, did anyone notice that it seems that Jackie got some more lip injections and possibly had something implanted into her cheeks leaving her looking even less like the 55 year old woman she should look like and more like someone who is moving closer and closer to being a spokes person for Matel?
I know...harsh! But, really. What is so wrong with aging gracefully?

Yep---again, I feel badly for Jackie and Leslie (Monica). I have a feeling that they are doing what they feel they need to in order to hang onto their jobs...

Yeah. And that could very well be why they tried to replace John Ingle (Edward) with Jed Allen not so long ago...Glad the fans got John back? I sure am!

I thought there was something odd about her. I know she is getting up in years, but I thought it was from trying to look young while she is up there in them years! Sometimes you just have to look as old as you are. Trying to get around it only makes you look older! I remember her back with her competition for Scott Baldwin from Laura. Sure wish she had won!

Yea! She looked ridiculous! Yikes! She really aught to lay off! She isn't doing herself any favors! I get trying to keep the look of your youth but, there are ways to do that that don't involve looking like a clown! LOL!
And, LOL about her, Laura and Scott. I don't remember if I was watching on a regular basis back then. I have been watching on and off for most of my life and religiously for the past 11 years, but, it is hard for me to remember some of it from when I was younger because I would mostly catch it while my Mom was watching it when I would get home from school. I would half pay attention. LOL!

Yeah, "back in the day" she was hot after Scott. She was there and then she got Luke to show up (Tony's first appearance) to help her get Scott from Laura, and of course Luke wanted Laura, etc etc etc..... and they still play that same stale old, out of key tune to this day!!!!

I have always thought she looked a bit plastic. The flashbacks from when she and Luke were young showed her looking like a flesh and bone person. Since then, she looks as if she has been stretched and squeezed into an unreasonable facsimile of her previous self. I wonder what she would look like if she had let nature take its course.

LOL! I wonder that same thing! She just looks so ridiculous to me! But, I guess to each his or her own! I just have to wonder if anyone close to her has pulled her aside and told her she needs to stop turning her body into plastic. By the time she passes away, they won't need to embalm her because plastic doesn't decompose as quickly as flesh. LOL!

Yes, I agree with you here, Cortjo. I think Bobbie's/Jackie's lifts have gone a bit 'over the top lately' Too much of a good thing. I don't like to actor bash, and I am wondering if it something she feels like she has to do to stay on the show. Notice she and Monica are the only 2 of that generation that they seem to want to keep around and both are more like recurring than contract it seems. Why do other shows value the aging veterans and GH not seem to care if they stick around or not?

Speaking of Monica, her too. Just not quite as bad as Bobby. But, I have a feeling they are both seeing the same doctor and, they both need to stop!
And, I don't really get that either about GH and getting rid of their vets for younger people. I mean, I get that they want to keep it fresh but, they are sort of slowly, and sometimes quickly, killing off the heart of the show, which is the Q clan.

OMG. I used to watch GH religiously. I haven't seen
it in years. Does she really look that ridiculous?
I adored her for years. I guess I'll have to tune
in to see how they're all aging.

That is just too funny. I had a feeling years
ago that she would be the type to go to great
lengths to remain "youthful & sexy." It never
works out though.
I'm going to sneak some peaks to see who's still
around. Maybe we'll get a story line where some
get LOST on an island. LOL

Whew! Let me tell you! I was watching the episode I mentioned while the hubby was reading on the couch. His sister used to watch GH when he was a kid so, he is familiar with all the veteran GH players and I paused the show on my TiVo on her face and I told the hubby to look at Bobby. He couldn't believe his eyes. He too remembers what she used to look like and was shocked that she would do what she did to look like she looks! It is horrible. Her lips are huge and puffy and I think she had cheek implants! Horrible! She should sue her doctor! Definitely check it out. She isn't on all that often though so, it may take some more time before you get to see her again.

Do you remember AMY? She was a nurse, same surgeon...Rumor has it they would go on platic surgury retreats together.One uping each other...scary!
Soon she'll look like cat woman from NYC...AHAHAHAHAH

Nothing is wrong..just look at my clown face..LOL I've never had anything done..somethings i wish were fixed but can't afford it so am aging more than graceful..durn face is hitting the time machine..LOL.. what happened to my young days? Now i'm my Mother!
