There is one thing that irritates me more than any other thing in life, it is a smelling ampit, whether that of a man or a woman. My first relationship of 2 weeks was broken because the lady in quesiton was always smelling in her ampit, no matter what kind of roll on or lavener she used she was always smelling. no sooner had she entered the room than the whole place would be full of offensive odour. I tried helping her out but no way. ordinarily, i would hav tolerated her but when she notice I wasn't comfortable, she called off the relationship. i often feel self-conscious that my ampit is smelling and I shave every often, but even if I didn't shave, my girl friend used to tell me that she likes the way my ampit smells, infact before we start any act, she starts from my ampit, but that is not making mild of my discussion here. is there any doctor in the house? what is responsible for smelling ampit and what is the antidote?

Well, armpit odor is the result of the body's natural cooling mechanism - sweat. However, the bacteria that live in the armpit area are the true catalysts involved.
The remedy/antidote is simple, and one everyone already knows about! Shower everyday and use a deODORant (take note of the name) & antiperspirant.
Best of luck!

Hmm. I think, as far as diet is concerened, certain spices exit the body via sweat. Like Indian food for example, the spices they use are stronger than most (like fennel - although relatively mild in comparison to others).
I don't know if the girl in question ate a lot of spicy foods, but I believe, they may add to the odor problem. One suffering from this problem could always resort to a prescription strength deodorant!
