I dont believe age should ever matter like people say " age ain't nothing but a number" that bonds us to a lot of things but not when it comes to the heart. I have dated guy from 2 to 11 years older then me. I never have a problem until it is time to bring him home and Daddy doesn't like it but he's not dating them I AM.

my husband is 6 an half years older then me. we have been togehter for 12 years. we got together when i was 20. we havent had any issues with age. granted i make him feel old sometimes when he talks about howdy dudy and i havnt a real clue about it lol. things like that but over all it is great. women mature faster then guys most of the time so ....... the only time it is wrong in my eyes is when they are not both of adult age. 17 though if both of you are at least that then if you are happy so be it.

i think that large age differences can cause problems in relationships. I think if your gap is small 5 years or less it's not going to cause a problem. Spouses have different activity levels at different ages.
