I am unable to come to grips with why my 4 year old daughter still bed wet. I thought that at the age of 2 or 4 she will stop. But somehow, she is still bed wetting, no matter how light she eats. I am worried. When will she stop or is it due to her gender? Please help

She is only 4 and its totally normal for a child to still be bedwetting at that age so try not to worry too much. Does the bed wetting upset her? if so id suggest nappy pants at bed time as the fear of bed wetting can make the problem esculate!
Try to make sure she doesnt have a drink in the hour before bedtime and limit the amount she drinks in the 2 hours before bedtime. Make sure she has a wee before bed and then when you go if possible get her out of bed sit her on the toilet generally they will stay asleep but still wee and this can stop the wetting in the night.
She will get there dont worry it takes some children longer than others but at 4 id not be too concerned just yet xxx

Have you had her checked by the Dr for any urinary problems. When my kids were little and I had a new baby When i had to get up with the bay I would git the older child up to go potty. Then they went right back to sleep. You might try getting her up to go potty just before you go to bed. If she is still dry then try a later time.

how light she eats? or how light she drinks? i've found that as long as i limit how much my daughter drinks after like 7pm, she usually doesn't have any accidents. she is 5. if your daughter is having more than one accident a week i would talk to your family doctor. more than once when i've had my daughter in for stuff they asked me about bed wetting problems, so there could be something there that is causing her to wet the bed.

I'd probably put it down to something medical or perhaps you're just allowing her to have too much to drink, too close to her bedtime.
I don't know of ANY 4 year olds that are still wetting the bed, it seems a little old to be doing this & as for the gender issue - i think you'll find that little boys are the ones who wet the bed longer.
There are some other options you can try, there is a special device that you can put under the sheets & when it gets wet - it will wake the child & not stop beeping until the sheets are changed & dry. I'm not sure what it's called though.
I'd take her to the Dr & see what he/she has to say about it first though - at they age of 4 they should be attending Kindergarten (which could vary especially in different countries) & most kindergartens wont take on children that are not properly toilet trained.
If she only wetting herself at night or does she have numerous accidents during the day? That might be a better indication of what the problem is - if it's only at night then definitely cut back on liquids an hour or so before bedtime!

Well, there might be some underlying causes why she is still bed wetting at that age. But I know of somebody who is already 16 years old and still bedwet. I think there are some setious causes why this thing happen? I could not imagine a 16 year old still pee on bed? It's embarrassing.
Seeing a doctor might be the best option to know why.
