like you i find myself torn between the two lols...
modern in a way of living i am independent having my own place decides independtly (whenver i came to decison i just tell it to my parents but not really to ask permission but simply letting them know)and career wise i am in modern living
i am conservative in my values, as to my family (keepng extended family ties), love, i stillbelieve in marriage, dont into living-in outside marriage..
so there i am in the middle hahahaha

yes i live independent to so i have to survive in my own decissions.When i was a bit younger when i am still living w/ my parents i am very shy and very conservative person.But this kind of situation give you some goodthings and bad things..Goodthings becouse most people give more respect because they are afraid to be open in the way of talking because mybe it might ofend you.bad things because your not use to to talk to more people like making your own speech becouse your too shy and just rather stay at home doing border..
Your right Family stays together even they are to far from each other.They stay in our heart..

That's a good question! I think it really depends on what it is. In someways I would definitely be considered conservative but I am also very open minded so I suppose that would make me more modern.

I am too much conservative and negative minded. I don't let her go alone anywhere, I always drop her to home. I only go out to drop her to her home from college after classes were off. So much conservative.

I'm mostly conservative. I don't easily adopt new ideas but I consider them always. At times I follow new trends a lot especially with technology. I update myself as much as I can with the little time I have. 
I stay conservative most of the time in terms of personal ideas/social ideas. I always go with the more acceptable notions that those that are in question. I just prefer them. I am usually called a realist. Take care!

I am both conservative and modern person because it balance me as a person. I believe you cannot be conservative or modern person alone.
There are some areas that you should be conservative. Example about what you and your bf or husband do it in a close room. You should not talk about it to anyone because it's private and you should be conservative about it. Of course, you do not like it if you hear anyone talking about your private life.
You should also be conservative to what you wear. If you want people to respect you wear proper clothes.
Modern Person because you face reality and see the new changes and challenges. You can try anything you want.
Being conservative and modern person is a good combination because it shows that you are person with full of emotions.
