Every time I see a "Celtic Woman" show on PBS. I have a crush on the blonde fiddle player (I think my 8-yr-old does, too). She looks like if she had wings she would be a fairy dancing across the stage. *sigh*

I like Andre Rieu and he is very handsome, don't you think? I always thought he looks a lot like the actor Mel Gibson. What do you think? Anyways I do love his music! He is one of the most talented musicians there are nowadays.

I haven't had many of those moments but my youngest daughtter bless had a ticket to see the Foofighters at Wembley in London on Friday and Thursday she was so ill I had to drive back home to Devon again so she never got to go. So on Friday she was having a 'I wish I was there' moment big time bless. Ellie :D

yes. it was when incubus had their first concert here. i had two tickets but unfortunately, i had a final exam on the night of the concert itself. i was still in college back then. i was really frustrated since i had set my mind that i would be going to the concert.

I certainly had the same feelings as you did. I used to read an article introduced The heavenly Maldives.It said that the island of the Maldives,situated in the Indian Ocean near Sri Lanka,have been described as "gem-like","romantic",and "spectacular",they have sparkling white sand and many luxury resorts,and the colorful world beneath the ocean's surface.Whatever the reason,people leave the Maldives thrilled by the beauty they've seen.I really wish I was 0n one island of the Maldives,it's so beautiful and so wonderful.

I was in Windsor,Ontario when a concert involving Frank Sinatra,Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. was to be held across the river in Detroit.The show was changed when Deano had to cancel and they brought in Liza Minelli to take his place.I did not go to the concert when Dean had to cancel,but I wish it had gone on as scheduled as I KNOW I would have enjoyed seeing the 3 superstars in what would turn out to be one of their last concerts together.The original Rat Pack.

Yes I do, and I think most of us do, Thats the beauty of modern technology, we can see things without actually being there, This is one advantages of living now.

hi pola. sure i have those "i wish i were there" moments. i think every person has them. but it think that what is really important is how much time this "moment" lasts. there are people that all of their way of thinking is "i wish" and they miss life itself. i have alote of "i wish i was" but it takes me a minute, to look at what i achieved and what i have and what i can do in the future, to erase that way of thinking.

Having once been a professional musician for many years, I have played in many different bands and worked with the occasional "star". Now when I see performers on the TV, I nearly always wish I could go back to those days. They were never very consistent and often there were struggling times between season contracts, but it was well worth it. 35 years ago, as things got worse in the UK as live musicians were replaced by "canned" music, I retrained as a therapist - but I always miss my music days.. :-)

I think with me, it's whenever I see some nature show and its a segment of natural habitats and environments that makes me wish I were there--loaded up with my camera gear of course...would love to go on an African Safari photo shot--or even some show with a segment of an historic place. Like recently I saw a show about Colonial Williamsburg and it was like...I gotta be there! Maybe cause I love the whole colonial period of America in general that show made me drool...LOL

Hi polachicago! Gosh, lots of time! haha..Too many to count and remember actually! LOL! And at the moment, I wish I was in a cooler place because it is actually getting hot here again at our place. As for public events, there isn't many that I would care to attend. I have seen places though like on the travel channel and thought I would like to be there.
