I prefer Target to Walmart for the overall shopping experience. Their clothing is better quality and lasts longer and they have really good sales and clearance prices on them. Also, the atmosphere at Target is clean, bright, and just pleasant. The employees do not seem so tired or overworked and the aisles are free of clutter. At Walmart I like to shop there because the prices are usually lower than anywhere else, but you have to deal with rude employees or employees that look overworked and tired. At Walmart you also have to deal with crowded parking lots, crowded aisles, messy aisles with items all over the place, long lines at the checkout, nasty bathrooms, and rude customers in line behind and in front of you. At Target I get a better vibe overall and some of their grocery products are really nice and better than the ones offered at Walmart. Also, many of their prices are really competitive to Walmart's. If I had the choice I would always pick Target over Walmart.

I do to. If they could just try to match prices with some of the more popular items that are at Walmart, I'd never shop anywhere else.

I mostly shop at wal-mart since it is closer to my house. If gas wasn't so high I would make the extra trip.

I like Walmart better. Target has higher prices and I do not like alot of their items. There clothes for children are horrible and very cheaply made. Walmarts clothes are cheap too but at least they are cute.

Without a doubt-Wal Mart-I work for them as a customer service manager and use my discount card frequently.

I guess you would feel that way if you were working for them! At least I hope so.

Walmart is so much more. I've been to England before and shopped in Tesco's. They have really good crisps or potato chips as we say here.

Target is more expensive than Walmart. Walmart has been charged with oppressive labor relations in the past.

Our Walmart is never quick. You are almost always in line forever.

I like both Target and WalMart. When in Nashville, I preferred Target. Here, I shop more at WalMart since we didn't have a Target near us until a few months ago. There is another one across town that is much larger and better stocked store. The new Target is not like most Target stores. I found the merchandise in the clothing department is not up to par. I love shopping in the linens but theirs is a small department. I will not shop too often there and will continue to shop at WalMart, although their shelves are beginning to stay emptier than they used to with the products I like.
