It seems that people never really stop aspiring for something and never satisfied with what nthey accomplish because once they attain a goal, they keep on wondering what lies behind the next hill or mountain. In other words, they set another goal for themselves because it appears that there is something bettert beyond the next hill or that the grass is greener on the other side of the mountain. Do you feel the same way or are yu onemthose who can rest on his/her own laurels and is not curious about what lies beyond the next mountain.

i guess i could say when im still in my productive years or shall we say trying to reach my goal in life im always adventurous and like to test the waters on other places or companies...and at this very moment i feel contented for what i have..my family, career and in terms on the finances ...im not rich though but felt content on it...

I suppose life would become boring if there is no sense of adventure in it and testing the waters is by itself an adventure. But the bottomline is contentment in the sense that if you are happy and content with what you are doing and where you are and what you have, there really would be no strong urge to see what's on the other side of the mountain. I think that that is a good thing ( always wanting more ) but you should definitely be able to feel satisfied with what you have accomplished in life, and what you already have. I am one of those people, though, that always wants more and always pushes for a new goal once I've accomplished something. Baby steps.

Yes, I agree with you that it's good to always aspire to accomplish more but there must be a sense of accomplishment. A task once started should be finished before starting a new one. Thanks for sharing
