Shall all the people in the world get along as a big family?

You know,last month there was a terrible earthquake in China's Sichuan Province.According to the official report of Chinese government, nearly 70,000 people were killed and many people were lost.When the news spreaded out,all the people were shocked.There haven't been such a big earthquake that cause so many death since 1978 in China.After that happened,many people from all over the country and even all over the world came to Sichuan and help the victims.A very large amount of money was collected for them.As a Chinese ,I really feel sad for my compatriots and I sincerely appreciate those who offer to help us.It was during this period that I felt all the people in the world was just a big family.I really hope this will last forever.We don't need war,don't need hostility,what we need indeed is LOVE.Do you agree with me?

Yes, I really agree!
You know ,before the earthquake , I'm so disappointed with the chinese society, I think ,all people only like money ,other thing is not important!
However, after the earthquake,so many moving story we have heard, I find there are so much love in our 56 kinds folk!
Maybe the earthquake disaster is so horrible,however, which could not win the chinese people ,because we have so strong love to offend this disaster and rebuild more beautiful towns in Si Chuang!

I agree also but unfortunately there will always be greedy people in the world trying to take over. It is the greedy evil people in the world that keeps the rest of us from loving and taking care of one another.

The sad thing is, the whole world already acts like a family- a huge, dysfunctional one, with all the stereotypical uncles and aunts and cousins, the black sheeps, and the few who try to (and fewer still who manage) to keep all of us together. If you think about it, the wars in the world can be considered family feuds, as well. It would be wonderful if we could pull together as a more idealistic family (the kind you mentioned); I agree that we could use some of that. But to be honest, I don't see it happening any time soon.

Yes, I heard about the earthquake in China, Sichuan province. Also followed by the flooding. I was really sad hearing about that news I agree with you....It would be really nice for our world, if people can be friend and be nice to each other. Like you said, we do not need wars or hostilities. Mother nature is cruel is enough for us nowaday.

Our planet is a beautiful place to live. If we only try to help and love each other
like brothers and sisters. I'm sure that many people want peace. But why it's hard to implement it? There's always violence,terrorist attack and killings. What is really the problem with this world. And i realized that probably peace is like a star that is very very far away.
