Today's economic condition...are you feeling the pinch?

Nowadays the cost of living has gone up, the fuel price has increased several times, the rising costs of foods, rising mortgage repayments. I started to feel the pinch right now although I still barely afford it however I have to find better job so I don't stretch too much. I've been told that finding job is not easy as before since majority of companies are shedding its workers for the sake of cutting the cost or even increasing the profits. Life is not easy as before and I've taken careful approach that I need to tight my belt and save every money that I can so I can use it for later purposes. What's your current situation? Are you feeling the same? Thanks for the sharing and suggestion.

You're right, the economy is not good and jobs are getting scarce but that doesn't mean that you can't look for a better one. You never know, you might find something better. My family is feeling some financial strain and it seems to get worse with every passing week. We cut back where we can, shop the sales and try not to do any unnecessary driving. So far we will still be able to go back up north to see our families this summer but, if gas prices get much higher, we migh end up staying home this year.
