My boyfriend and I just saw the movie The Strangers. We don't go to the theater very often and I love scary movies, but I feel this one was not worth the money spent. However I was looking for the tight, suspenseful feeling that you get in your stomache when watching a scary movie and I have to admit that I got it. What did you think?

I have seen the previews of the movie on tv and it's just creepy, with those weird bags over their heads. And the movie really isn't that good? Don't tell me they showed all the good stuff in the previews? A couple of years ago they had a remake at the theater of an old movie...gosh I can't remember the name off the top of my head. Where the girl was babysitting and the psycho gets in the house, it had a bird aviary in the house. Anyway, when we finally saw it on pay perview, all the good stuff was seen in the previews.

I have been eagerly anticipating this movie since I first saw the trailer at the beginning of Prom Night. I thought this trailer was scarier than the entire Prom Night movie. Personally, I really enjoyed The Strangers! There were a lot of jump in you seat, cover your eyes, and yell out loud moments for me to justify this as a pretty freaky movie. I must admit that some parts of the movie were predictable, but for the most part, simply the idea that this could happen in a seemingly normal, albeit remote, neighborhood was really disturbing and added to the freakiness! I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, but wouldn't see myself buying the dvd or watching it again.
