Do you clean the toothpaste cap?

I don't really care to clean it off. But I do care that I use it carefully so as not to have toothpaste build up in the cap. Yes, I am bothered when I cannot close the cap but it doesn't bother me so much that I have to clean it up. Sometimes, when I see that there are a lot of build up, I use by toothbrush to get those build up and use it. That is more thrifty, I think.

Hmmmm...Not usually. But yes, if the cap won't close then I will clean it out. I normally don't even notice if there is a little bit in the cap...but I probably will now! Lol.

I do clean it showing under the gushing water of the tap.I feel uneasy with the messed up thing and feel a little uncomfortable from squeezing paste from an ugly tube.

Hi friend, i dont wash the toothpaste cap. What is its need. I wash my toothbrush in got water once in a week. But toothpaste cap not. I think it is not necessary. Good discussion. Keep in touch.

Ok Pixel, I admit it. I do this. I think it's gross when it's all gooped up. It doesn't seem to bother anyone else in my house, but it sure bothers me. I am not a germ freak, but this stuff goes in your mouth. I want it closed nicely until the next time I use it. It's not like it's hard to clean it. You just run it under the hot water and it breaks it up nicely. Now the big questions is.....did you floss?

I can't stand when it gets like that. The tube my husband and I use always stays clean but the kids.....OMG you would think they squeezed the toothpaste all over the lid. They get mad because I rinse it under hot water to rinse it off and then the first squeeze of toothpaste is watery. I also can't stand globs of toothpaste in the sink. Yuck!!
