I kinda look at myself as the prodical son because we do have or had some of the same experiences,I left my fathers house because I thought the grass was greener on the other side but after I had squandered all my money and abused my body which is the temple that i even wanted to eat the slop that the pigs were eating but deep inside I knew I had a place to go to if I could swallow my pride and return to my fathers house which for those of you that aren't understanding me I'm speaking of heaven or just a spirtual life in general and I am not trying offend no one but I have so much to say that God wants me to say that little by little Im a have to let it out anyway the moral of the story is when I returned hope my father was waiting for me (God) with open arms non judmental and made me whole again so if anyone out there is I'm a get specific: smokin crack, shooting Krystal Meth, prositution, alcoholism, or just any addiction in general just remember you still have a home waiting for you YOUR father is waiting Peace

We all think that we will be better off on our own than with our parents. We have mistaken their guidance and counsel as interfering with our life. One thing good about them is they could never turn their head from us even how bad they had suffer for the things we had done.
The story of prodigal son is one of my favorite story of repentance and forgiveness in the bible. It shows how lavish and great is the love of our Father to us. Though we have lost our way and had done the things that He don't like us to do, He will accept us if we repent (giving back of the ring to the son).
Jesus said in Luke 5:32, "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance".
