Favorite Ikea Purchase - Past or Present

We just bought a new home and I have been having a fantastic and fun time furnishing it with Ikea items. My personal favorite is my Expedit bookshelf in black-brown. It's got the place of honor in the master bedroom, proudly displaying my book collection. I've had my eye on this for the past year and a half now and I absolutely love it! So what have you bought in the past, or recently bought, from Ikea that you love (furniture, decoration, artwork, etc)?

I love the MALM chest of drawers that has 4 main drawers and two small drawers at the top. It has loads of space to store things and looks good too. I used to work at IKEA and from I enjoyed the experience of working behind the bargain corner section building the furniture to go out on display.

By bargain corner section, do you mean the "As Is" section? I love that section! You can find some really good deals there.
I really like the Malm furniture too - I have the 3 drawer chests on either side of the bed as nightstands.

Yes, and I remember that I had to aim to build at least three items per hour, which wasn't difficult and was a lot of fun. It was a great atmosphere, friendly, and with everyone helping each other find the right tools, parts etc.

3 items in one hour? We certainly could've used your help when we built this bookcase and the other stuff we got from Ikea. ;)
