Although you posted 50 posts till now but you should also check your posts's quality and length. I also made same mistake at my first day of mylotting. I posted 50 posts but all were very short. I got only 17 cents at my first day. But at the very next day i increaded length of my responses and i got 46 cents. And then i got more then 70 to 80 cents daily.
So try to make your posts long and quality and also try to upload photos with your discussions.
Thanks

Oh i like this comment. and i agree with him. make comments, discussion threads adn respond to other discusioosn but make sure they are long enough. i read in one of the discussion threads that you need 4 lines minimum to EARN A BETTER RATE. while you will still earn for you short posts..so i suggest make good big posts.. and think of it this way, they are paying you not for amount of posts. but for amount of words in the posts. more amount of words( in other words longer the post) means more earning rate.. Got it??

Hello, The first day I joined mylot I did about 100 post just to test the waters . I had no idea that the more you wrote the more they would pay you . I think I only made 37 cent. Then, I read many posting , and slowly caught on . There really is no right or wrong way , you just learn as you go .
I only do about 50 a day on a good day and will make $1.00 . Just post about what you love, and upload some pics. Try to have atleast 10 post that are about 50 lines .

Are you saying each post should be 50 lines long? That would be like writing a book. I have made some long comments but I am sure none of those comments came anywhere close to 50 lines. It would stretch my imagination/mind to comment on something and put in 50 lines, staying on topic.

Hi scorpiachoo,
The system that myLot uses to award payments for posts is rather mysterious, but the best approach seems to be to make sure that your responses show some thought and aren't just quick one-liners.
It's also helpful to have a good list of friends, who have similar interests to you, and who will respond to the discussions that you start. That's in the myLot community spirit, if you like.
And one other thing that might help (I can't be sure, because it is all secret) is to RATE the posts of other people in the discussions that you join. That's what the little "+" and "-" and "!" are for. If you rate at least some of the posts in a discussion that you participate in, that might help to earn extra myLot income.
If you do something like 10 good posts each day, then that should get you around $0.50 each day, which will easily return over $10.00 per month, so you would get a Paypal payout each month.
Anyway, I hope it works well for you. Good luck with your posting!

Thanks for this information. I had someone to tell me they had rated my comment and I had no idea what it meant. I suppose I missed that in learning about MyLot. Now, I can use that little tidbit of information. I have tried to do at least 10 posts a day or night and could not figure out why I had only $.46. I have just one friend here so far, so perhaps I need to be a little more friendly. That doesn't mean I'm not friendly, but have a hard time just making friends.

At just over 40 postings, the balance on my account is currently at $ 0.47, so I understand where you are coming from. I think there are two things that you need to do in reagrds to this. Firstly you need to get some referrals. The main reason for this is that you get the equivilent of 25% of whatever they earn through making their contribution to myLot. The second thing you need to do is spend quite a bit of time wondering around myLot contributing either by making responses to posts, or by starting new topics yourself.
My advice for most people is to forget about the money side of things, it will look after itself over time, have some fun contributing to the community.

Hi scorpachoo, I would have to tell you now don't mind about the earnings yet since you are still new with myLot and it's better to just enjoy submitting your posts and have a good discussion with every myLot members to the topics that interests you. Or the topics that you have ideas to share with and post them in the discussion. After all, nobody here in myLot knows about the exact rate they give for every post we make. I read feedbacks that we need to submit quality posts to earn a better rate. If I have to interpret what they said, we need to post longer posts so we could further explain and discuss the idea that we want to convey. But I think there is no better way to increase your earnings than to enjoy every response that you post first. If you are enjoying, you won't really mind about your earnings, and they just accumulate day after day. Good luck and hope you are enjoying your experience here in mylot.

i confused also, i have responded for almost 82 reponses but i only recieve less than fifty cent. i take it a challenge and i just enjoy posting and replying for in the discussions while observing how can i earn more in the other day. Thus, i get busy reading and responding to posts, post some pics and refer this site to my friend. I understand that i am newbie here so for me, personally, i don't think much of the compensation yet.

Here in mylot, number of post is not a concern for earnings.. but how many Quality/Quantity (in words) discussion have you posted is being considered for your earnings pupose..
Based on the Quality /quantiy of your postings you will be paid by mylot..
So, When ever you start the discussions or respond the others discussion with quality and also try to Start/ respond the discussions with a minimum of 10 lines or more in length with relevent to the discussion topic. and add an image with respect to the discussion topic will be the added advnatage for earning purposes.
You can use your brain and try to start/respond the others discussion in different point of view, try to show your discussion/responses will show different dimentions from the other discussions/responses.. this will also help you to improve your earnings in mylot.
and also avoid the single word/liner discusison/responses, this will not help you to improve your earings..
In mylot you can find the people those who post around 20-25 discussion and earn more than $2.00+ and also the people who posts more than 50 posts and get the earnings of less than $0.50..
So, concentrate on your Quality of the discussion rather than the Number of posts..
All the very best.
