Hi, KUSHANK55.
This question about whether one prefers coffee or tea is not a simple one for me. That is because I like both of these beverages you mention. I think that I select coffee more often than tea.
These days, if I am out and about, I tend to order an iced, decaffeinated, nonfat latte, without sweetener at either Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. That's my favorite drink right now.

I personnaly prefer only coffee.. i dont like tea..
We use to have a coffee in the morning once we wake up, brush our teeth.. immediately have a coffee then only the day will start for us.. for all our family members..
May be in the evening, we use to took a cup of coffee..
We never took any coffee/Tea in between.. That will affect our stomach.. it distrubs a lot..
As for as "Tea" is concern, i don't have a habit of having a tea, from my childhood days.. so, i never taste it yet..
In my office tour, i forced to have one cup of tea, but i had the same with half a cup of tea for a half an hour of time..

okay it is all the same with traditional indian families.
ours being a hot climatic zone taking more of tea/coffee will definitely spoil the health something like stomach upset or even liver problems, acidity etc. so one has to limit the quantity of whatever beverage you take.

I prefer a cup of tea because my hubby and I are planning to have kids. So I'm just afraid that coffee will affect on the planned pregnancy. thanks.

I prefer tea if compared to coffee. If not necessary, I won't take tea. I know that these two, tea and coffee, have caffeine more than any other drinks, but coffee has more caffeine than tea. So yes, milk is probably the best drink for us. thx for the advice.
PS: You may want to look at my discussion under title: "Is it true that tea affects pregnancy or planned pregnancy?" I posted a long ago and some myLotters wrote about the scientific studies about caffeine in tea and coffee. thx

really is it so? is there any scientific basis for this kind of thinking or just a hearsay mrs.jofeli. if you go by hindu (indian)philosophy then i will recommend lot of good milk(specially cow milk) for you and your husband and no tea for a few months before pregnancy. it will definitely have a direct bearing on semen which will become thicker and some other effects.

I prefer coffee to tea. A cup of black coffee and a few slices of steamed bread with "kaya" in the afternoon, is my habit. I ready enjoy it !

ok curious888. good i understood all but "kaya". what is this preparation ? can you explain that to me? your preference of coffee is specific to you or it is a general thing in your place. how often do you go for tea?

I quite like both.
Normally I will take green tea in the evenings anyway.
But if I am out, it is usually coffee for me.

yes dear true, the need , demand and supply and consumption is increasing globally but there is a need to have some control on the quantity one consumes for health considerations!!

Coffee is nicer than tea. If someone smokes, it is nice to be accompanied by a cup or glass of coffee. Moreover, the coffee is not mixed coffee, but pure coffee.

Hi Kushank, haven't seen you in a while, so I thought I'd stop by and see what was up.
Anyway, I'm mostly a tea drinker but I do occasionally enjoy a cup of coffee. It doesn't always agree with my stomach though, that's why I started drinking tea!

well tea is definitely more refrshing and lighter on the stomach.
better go for light and unboiled black tea. you will relish and enjoy it!!
just try and share your experience!!

i drink both. i prefer coffee with some flavored creamer, especially in the mornings. but i have a couple of favorite teas that i will drink when i am in the mood for something a little sweeter. one is a vanilla caramel tea and the other is raspberry royale tea. yumm! i also have a white chocolate kisses tea that i have to try. i like sweet, dessert teas! :)

Coffee is the number one choice for me! I drink it all the time though I know it's not so good since I add 2 teaspoons of sugar with each cup... well I use a mug not a small cup. I don;t like tea with milk, in winter I drink tea with some honey and a slice of lemon.

hi you. interesting question .well it all depends on mood , occasion and your own feeling . normally coffee making is a ritual kind of a thing and takes little longer to brew than tea so it also depends on time too. well some people make really good coffee so with these people i wd prefer to go for coffee. otherwise normally tea is ok. but a glass full of cold coffee after dinner will always be welcome.

Normally I prefer a cup of green tea in the morning. But if I have to go to uni, maybe I will choose a medium size Mocha with raw sugar and thick froth on top:-)
