Which Ghost Busters movie do you prefer, 1 or 2?

Well, I just saw the second one again today ... I mean; I've seen `em both bazillions of times, but haven't seen the first one since the last time I saw the second (this morning). They both had a different message, and weren't really 'parts of the same story' (like so many movie-series are today). The first one was more about 'the job of ghost-busting' being 'finding the slimy creature & capturing the evil spirit & locking it away.' The second one showed that the ghosts are created by people, as a manifestation of their 'fears' (the things they hate which are the things they would become if there weren't ghosts to become those things instead). I like Ghostbusters 2 better, because my spirit is 'lifted' when the guys slime-up the inside of the Statue of Liberty and they start playing that song: "You know, your love (your love has lifted me) Has lifted me higher (lifted me lifted me) Than I've ever Been lifted (Your love has lifted me) Before (higher higher)" (I was crying happy tears just typing that & remembering the music!)

I prefer both too...I have them both on dvd

i like the first one,the 2nd are a big flop
