We went to Aquatica (Sea Worlds new water park) yesterday. We we crossing over a bridge.. and she freaks out. "OMG I think I saw a dead body" We didn't see what she thought she saw. There was nothing on the news about it either
She was so convinced, she blogged about it:
"I think I saw a dead body today in Orlando.
My parents think I'm crazy, but on our way to Aquatica, we were on that bridge in Orlando that's next to all those huge buildings and stuff (Haha. There are a million of those, I know.) Well, I was looking down on the road below us, and on a concrete slab from the bridge next to us, was this man, lying stiff as a board. He was really close to the road too. At first I thought it was a construction worker just resting there. But that's a REALLY dangerous spot to be resting.
Now, even though I only saw this for like, five seconds, what I saw was WTF worthy.
The man's arms were inside this clean, white shirt, like it was new. His face, particularly from his nose and down had either clear plastic wrap or duct tape wrapped around everything. He had blue jeans on and and his legs were like, bound together it looked like.
I don't know.
It scared the CRAP out of me.
Tomorrow I'm going to Aquatica again, so I'm going to look for it.
Haha."
Have you or your children ever thought you saw a dead body?

Kids have the darndest imaginations...But are you sure she really didn't see one?? She seems pretty adamant that she has. Then again, how can you see from far away and driving fast. Who knows?? But it is possible that she did see one.

One way to find out if your daughter actually did see something is to call your local police NON-emergency number. Explain to them where this occured, and what your daughter described to you, now, one bit of advice, do not mention about her 'vivid' imagination or they will not take you seriously AT ALL, just explain where you were going and what she described to you. If there was in fact a body, rest assured, your daughter is not the only one in town that saw it. Also, if they don't have any record of it, then if at all possible slow down in that area, if it is safe to do so, and see if it can still be seen there. If by some strange chance it is still there, then report it to your local police dept, or highway patrol, yes use 911. good luck (I think, lol) on this one.

Thank you for the suggestion. To ease here mind, we did call the OPD, they said they would investigate and get back to us. We have not heard anything back, and there is nothing on the news.. so who knows what she saw. We DID go back over there yesterday, she said what she saw on Sat was not longer there. Oh well

No, but this is a very clear description. We probably would have gone back to look. At first I thought she may have seen a homeless person or something, sleeping, but the tied stuff... Unless she has a vivid imagination...
