Happy Sunday to my friends! My hubby is going to take me out today and buy me some impatients. I did not finish my garden on the other side of the house I have all different plants. I know I cant do it because of surgery. So he said to me yesterday he would do that for me. I was so happy. I was just going to forget about it. So do like planting flowers?

Happy Sunday to you too my friend! I am feeling a little better today after being hit with a double whammy of the flu bug and a stomach bug, yuk! All at once, it is lovely and sunny today, won't make any difference to the old man so he'll be watching tv, mum and I both unwell are going out to do a little light gardening the front garden is a mess and it needs doing. Mum is our greenfingered one in the family and we have a lovely patch of strawberries, vegetables and fruits growing. I love wallflowers, the smell is my favourite and we have put those in and they are flowering now! Enjoy your day out least your hubby takes you out sweetie so he can't be all that bad, well for a man!

Happy belated Sunday Terryz. I don't have a garden to plant anything but I was thinking of putting a few flowers in those flower boxes on our porch. Might make it a summer project for my son and I - I'm sure he will enjoy that.

I am sorry you can't plant this year but you do need your rest. Just wait, next year you will be in your garden. I don't have a garden but I do have a few houseplants. I do like to take care of plants.

HOw nice of him, that is really sweet Terry:)
I am assuming that your sunday was a wonderful one and that you know have your impatients.
I had a busy sunday but it was nice in a way.
As for planting flowers... hmmm.... aaaaaahhhh.... welll, let's just say that flowers and I have an arrangement, they keep making me happy with their colors and shapes and wonderful fragrances, and I stay away from the pretension of being a gardener LOL I think it's a good arrangement given the fact that I am a complete disaster and was born without a green thumb hehehehhe

I love planting flowers too but do not have much space
to do so except for some soil around our patio cement
floor. right now I cannot get out and do any gardening
because I am fighting a case of shingles pain and all.
taking tylenol and mylotting seesm to help a lot.

I love flowers. I don't have many on my yard.
This year I have many organic veggies instead.
It is raining every other day, so i am happy with my garden so far.
I don't have to water it and all is growing fast....

Reading this discussion makes me realize I'm not completely awake. I read your discussion and all of a sudden I'm thinking, her husband is buying her implants? So I reread that. My mind has yet to wake up. I really hope it gets a little less foggy. I'd like to go to church this morning, and I hope I feel up to it. It starts at 10:30am, but if I get up really early like today, then sometimes I run out of steam by that time.

Boy, when I first started reading this discussion my first thought was what is impatients, haha. But after reading the next line, garden, I then knew it was a kind of flower. I love flowers but I don't know what most of them are called so I don't know what this flower looks like. I will be planting flowers in the flower pots in my yard, at the end of June. We just get too much rain in June to plant too much. In the last 21 days we have had, probably, 16 or 17 days of rain. And we are to have a lot more rainy days right till the end of the month. I don't remember ever having this much rain in June but according to the news this is normal. Go figure!! Have a nice day today, my friend.

What a nice way to spend a Sunday, Terry. I'm happy that he thought of you to buy flowers.
I don't have many flowers here as I wanted to concentrate on doing whatever few vegetables I could in containers and such, but I did find lots of daffodils, grape hyacinth and iris around the property that I moved around to where I wanted them.
The peony is finally blooming and it's gorgeous! I posted a picture on another discussion yesterday.
