Phobias

I am extremely afraid of spiders. As far as I'm concerned, with spiders, it's "the deader, the better". I used to have spider nightmares, even. I really can't stand to see them, not even on television. I'm also afraid of suffocation - mainly drowning. Could be because I almost drowned as a child if Dad hadn't jumped in to save me. But, now my mother has emphysema and just the loss of the ability to breathe is frightening to me.
