Food Production

We are currently leading to the wrong way, most people, businessmen are investing more on cars, hi-tech gadgets why not think that i could not eat those gadgets and circuits when there is no more people planting trees for food? Why not invest more on food production? Why is it government is investing more on industrialization not agriculture?
