OK. I know this may sound like a silly question. The answer is obvious for some of us including myself. When the weather is cold, I bathe with warm water and when the weather is hot, I'll bathe with cold water. Simple and straight forward answer. However, some of my relatives and friends actually bathe with only cold or warm regardless of weather changes. Most of them bathe with warm water EVERYDAY despite the hot weather in my country. How about you? Do you bathe with cold or warm water Only? Regardless of weather changes.

I usually shower in scalding hot water. I love the feel of steam all around me and the hot water on my skin and my skin is all pink after I'm done. I live in a very mild climate though. When I visit more humid and hot areas, I will still usually bath with really warm water.

well... i'm back! Nice to see you back here! Hope your issue with mylot is fixed. Coming to your question... i bathe in warn water regardless of the weather, But i'm trying to shift to Cold water. It will be raining 24x7 in my place for next 3 months so its going to be really cold in the morning, i'm planning to go for swimming in the morning, but the water at the pool will feel like hot water when the temperature out side is cold!

in very hot summer days, I will use the cool water to wash myself so that I can feel not so hot. But it is said that using cold water to wah body is not good to health. According the theory, cold water may bring the cause of illness into the body, so that with long time using cold water to wash yourself, you may get ill in a certain age, and that illness can not be easily removed. And from my own experince, I think cold water can only bring cool feeling only for a little while, and can not help the body relax enough during the time of bathing. But the warm water can help our body recover better than cold water. So almost the wohle year, I use warm water around temperature od 37C to wash myself. And I think taking a bath after a whole day's work is a way to enjoy our lives.

My parents also told me that too much cold water showers can cause rheumatism. I always wonder how true is that. Thanks for sharing. :)

I am also told by old people here. They always told me that when they were young, they work in some wet and cold area, and after a whole day's exhausting work, they use the cold water to take the bath. Now they are old and suffering the rheumatism. I do not think there must be any surely relation with cold water bath and the rheumatism. But with old people's experiences, I think it is wise for me to avoid getting such kind of illness by using the warm water to clear myself.

For me it all comes down to the existing temperament of my water system at home! lol. Regardless of the weather I will generally want to have a hot or at least warm shower; but my hot water system doesn't always allow me to choose!!!!

Wow! Judging by the responses you give to each reply you certainly do your homework regarding the person who responded. This is great! Yes, I am in Egypt at the moment but am from Australia. It is summer now so quite warm; but the winters here are very cold. There is quite an extreme from one season to the other here.

It can be cold at night in Egypt right? I think it's better to bathe with warm water in that case.

Hello there pal. Long time since I've seen you here in mylot. But then I was not very active for the last couple months and I am now back in mylot. I don't think this is a silly question because obviously you do bathe differently than some other people. What I mean is I always bathe in warm or hot water. I do not bathe in cold water, ever. My body would not be able to take the shock of cold water. But what ever works for you is great. So I am like some of your relatives and friends that it doesn't matter about the weather.

I use warm water always actually closer to hot. I just can't stand cold water in a bath. I don't want to be freezing my butt off while i am bathing. I much rather be warm while i am bathing lol.

I bathe in hot water every single day regardless of the weather. Cold water, even in summer, makes me shudder during the shower and sweaty after the shower. So weird. But a warm bath is relaxing and refreshing.^_^

I usually bathe with cold water regardless of the weather simply because our shower room doesnt have any heater function. If it has I'll be enjoying warm bathe everyday. In our country we just simply boil water and add it to the bucket of water we'll be using in our bathe and it really takes time to do that and i barely have enough time to make one.

regardless of the weather changes i say i bathe whatever the temperature of the water coming from the tank or from the faucet... it doesn't matter as long as i am clean and fresh... and, so is the water... so, if the water is cold because of the cold weather i try to adjust my body temperature before pouring water over me....

When I take a bath I like the water to be as hot as possible. I don't like cool baths, although I don't mind cool swimming pools. It's strange, but that's just how I am.
