how to beat the heat

hey im in philly here and were in the middle of a heat wave 90+ for the second day now i have no air conditioner just a box fan in my room there a air conditioner down stairs but i really dont like or feel comfortable siting with my sisters family that who im staying with rite now they make me feel like im an outsider like they really dont want me here so i was just wondering if any one had some little tricks i can use to stay cool im an asmatic and dont breath well to begin with and its also makin me snappy i was a real jerk to my girlfriend on the phone yesturday and im sorry for that and dont want to do it again so please help me cool down thank u
