Have you ever been in a bad situation, that kept getting worse by the minute?

Once I had to go to a big family event and it turned out to be a really bad day for me. First my jacket ripped. Then I got a big pimple on my cheek, probably from all the stress. Then our car broke down. And, it stormed, so everyone got wet and outdoor activities had to be postponed so everyone was stuck inside together and the TV didn't work! So, that was my day that just kept getting worse and worse. I didn't sleep well that night, either, so it turned into the day that would not end. What's the worst day you've been through in recent history. Was it the day that just would not end? Did it keep getting worse and worse, no matter how hard you tried to make it better?

I think everyone have been in a bad situation that keep getting worse, I have been in bad situations but so far I have not got really hurt from it, it is more like stress, one bad situation that I remember was when I really need to pick up a money from a international transfer and it almost nothing worked up, first when I arrived to the bank it was close and I had to wait outside because it was a getting a lot of people waiting and I don't want to be the last in the line, then it started to rainy so I had to ran to cover form the storm, when the back was open and I was my turn the computer system of the back was down so I have to wait for two hours until it started to work again, when I thought I don't would get worse the cashier told me I need register first, it really upset me because I have asked first and they told me I don't need to register, but it was a misunderstood because for a national transfer I don't needed but for international transfer I needed to register, anyway after of all that I got my money and there was not more problems, when I left the bank I was afraid i would lost my money because everything was getting worse and worse but at the end of the day all was ok and I got my money.

That sounds like my life, sometimes. Things just go downhill fast. Things get better eventually. Eventually! Not right away.

I think today is the day that I've been most embarrassed. I think the worst day in my life. First when I got into my office My superior called me and ordered me to update all those junk files those have been in the trunk boxes. Next thing was that letter from the Chief three days ago, which I had forgotten to send to one of the consultants. The most embarassing thing is when my boss asked for that letter i told him that i don't anything about that letter which inturn was found in drawyer of my desk. All those 8 hours of work today was worst. I feel very much sad. I was angry with myself. Damn, what a worse I had been through....?

A lot of nights at work are like that. I work in adult foster care, and a lot of things can go wrong in a very short amount of time. There have been nights where by the end of my shift I'd like to quit my job. I woukd never do that in reality though. I can't go into details because of HIPPA laws, but I do understand where you're coming from.

Yes,I have been in this situation several times already. I remember, there was this time that my boyfriend, another friend, and I had to fix some papers in a city that we are not so familiar with. We had a very limited time to do it and there were so many documents to work on. Since we do not really know the place so well, we decided to take the local transportation instead of taking the car. Because there were more than 5 offices that we were to go to, we went out of the hotel early morning and started moving from one place to another. There was traffic everywhere which consumed much of our time. Since we are not from that place, we had to ask people for directions. Some were not so kind while others were kind enough to give us directions. There were also those who gave us the wrong directions. Because of the wrong directions we were given, we spent a great deal on transportation alone. There was even this man who told us that one of the offices we were looking for was "just around the block" so what we did was walk. Well, we ended up walking about 4 miles. Yeah, 4 miles under the scorching heat of the sun! When we reached that office, it was already time for lunch, so we had to wait for an hour for office hours to resume. After that, we again had to go to another office. Then to another... then to another... We were not able to accomplish what we were suppose to accomplish in the last office because it was almost closing time. We were told to come back in the morning. On our way back to the hotel, we were too tired to even talk to each other. Oh well!

Hello beautyqueen26, Sometimes, I do feel things getting worse and worse but I am lucky, it won't be that long until I manage to get better. My worst experience was when I hit another car while in hurry to office, reached the office late and a day after that, someone smashed the front passenger window of my another car and stole a new VCD player that just being installed a day or two before that.

One afternoon I was looking for a State store. I was gonna get my cousin a bottle of vodka for Christmas. I asked this guy where there was one and he said he'd take me there. Naive, I know I was young. He led me around and before I knew it I was in the projects and I notice he's signalling. I look over and a group of guys are moving between the buildings. I took off with this guy after me. I ran into an Asian market and the guy comes in after me and I yelled at the store owner to call police. The guy says don't make me pull this out and grabs me and starts to pull me out of the store and I snapped and knocked him into the chips rack. Then he finally gets tired of it and leaves. When the cops came I told them what happened and they drove me home. On the way the cop says You're gonna kick yourself" and points out the window. There was the State store a few blocks from where I asked the guy and, obviously, in the opposite direction from where he took me. I'm just glad those other guys didn't come after me too. That was a pretty bad day.
